Goodies for Mingmay

One of the great things about being an auntie is that I get to knit little knits: 

Baby Surprise Sweater for Mingmay. Knit with Opal sock yarn. Yellow trim just for her. Red buttons picked out by her cousin Q. 

And then because I know this is how she feels: 
How could I resist this cute bib? 

Look who I met!!

Myrna Stahman came to the store tonight. I was so excited & kinda shy to met her. In the picture I'm wearing one of her shawls (!!). Also pictured is Maureen, who got me addicted to lace in the first place. It was a very fun night. Myrna brought many gorgeous samples & was very friendly. 

Now comes the hard part of deciding which shawl to knit first out of her book.....
